More Dubya on Vacay by Helen on 18 August 2005 12:59pm

May Cindy Sheehan remind him of the atrocities of his war.
Do you think maybe he will talk to her and other grieving families? For goodness sake, their loved ones gave their lives for his war. I would hope he could take a few minutes from his MONTHLONG vacation to talk with them.

Go ahead and rest up, GW. Karma is a boomerang.

Go Cindy. I lit a candle last night.

go here for an interview with Cindy Sheehan:

OK, here is where I stand on the war.
I am glad that numbskull Saddam Hussein is gone. Was it worth the price? Hmmmmmm. Have we nailed Osama bin Laden? Y'all know the answer to that question. Is Iraq Vietnam in slow motion? Maybe. I support our troops. That doesn't mean I don't think we are in a mess and maybe there for years.
Will Cindy Sheehan get her meeting with the President? I wouldn't bet the ranch on it.
No war is without pain, even a just war like World War II.
Mike

I believe the Iraq War will go down in US history as one that should never have happened ... or at least when and how it did.

Do not mistake me. I have no respect for Saddam Hussein, but it seems to me that using our Iraq resources in Afghanistan would have been wiser. As it is, both countries are teetering on the brink. Out of the frying pan and into the fire, as it were.
