Hummer Haters, unite by Helen on 26 April 2006 8:05pm

it's about time I shared this great website with all of you.

I submitted a shot a couple of years ago-- I flipped one off driving through Providence.

Hummers suck! Literally!

enjoy.

What's your opinion on people who whistle, then?

That was funny. Maybe I will go hang out at Stone Cold again and see if someone else can't pull in with a Hummer. I couldn't believe the breaks people who own them get. If you look inside, they really aren't that big.

It would be an interesting sociological and psychological study. What makes people buy them?

First thing that leaps to mind is status.

Hummer=money.

Can't see anything wrong with them myself - is it jealousy perhaps you guys?? To dedicate a whole website to slagging off what looks like a decent car - well, it just beggars belief.

And no, I don't own/drive one - our car is a Mitsubishi Shogun, lwb.

I am SO jealous I don't own a dirty, environment destroying, gas pig that kills compact cars on contact.

Read up on Hummers. Then you will discover that this website is clearly NOT about jealousy.

Try to find the pic of the Hummer getting flipped off by someone driving a Toyota Prius (a hybrid car). Kinda profound, really.

To me it is pure J E A L O U S Y.

Oh and I did read some of the website.

Get a life Helen - I'll get me a Hummer!

what in the name of arse is a Hummer?

Re: Hummer Haters, unite by Helen on 27 April 2006 5:44pm

wow, Anne. Some animosity there--settle down, tiger.

since you put me on the defensive--I offer this to you:

what would Bono think of you driving your Hummer depleting all of the fossil fuels and crapping up the environment like there's no tomorrow?

arty--a Hummer is a really expensive gas hog disgusting pig of a vehicle that has no practical use. Check out the website and see what others think of it. :)
