When I was working in the museum today, I had a couple come in. The woman it turns out is a descendant of the man who drove the train in this Civil War incident. I provided the link to Wikipedia below for more details about it.

She said she would bring down her ancestors, Congressional Medal of Honor.
It has nothing to do with Arizona history, but if we can get what she will give us, we are not above sharing.;-)

Buster Keaton's "The General" (based on this incident) is one of the greatest silent films ever. Do yourself a favor and see it if you haven't seen it already.

I saw the Buster Keaton movie as a child.
Probably should see it again.

OK Layne where are you, much of this took place in your backyard.
