Happy Birthday Arty! by tucsonmike on 14 July 2006 1:36am
I was going to put this in with the Bastille post, but thought I would make this more obvious.

Happy Birthday Arty, though I don't think the fireworks were for you LOL!

(We were in England for Guy Fawkes Day which is also Elaine's birthday. People in the train gave her funny looks when she said "my birthday should be celebrated with bonfires and fireworks).

One of my Toastmasters friend spoke last night about having her birthday on July 3rd. She said she was disppointed as a child when she was finally told, no the fireworks in Ashtabula, Ohio were not for her.

So Arty, enjoy, but you will have to BYOF!

Have a great one Arty! :o)

I'm new here. All I know is that my Mother is French and Bastille Day is her birthday. So, whoever Arty is, Happy Birthday to him. (Followed by grave lyrics about fertilising the soil of France with the blood of enemies of the French Revolution - um, which probably includes me...)

Hope you have a day which is both "Arty" and um...yeah. Have an arty day! Get ready to party arty. (or, "Get ready to Party, Arty.")

My dad's birthday is July 3, as is Tom Cruise, who starred in the film, "Born on the Fourth of July", strangely enough. A co-worker of mine has her big day on July 3, and a few days ago I heard that another notable person has it then, too. Trying to think who it was.

Ok, I got it- it's humor columnist Dave Barry who was born on July 3. Right. Got that sorted out.
(Welcome, Marlowe! Arty's not a "him", by the way, but, hey, you're new and it's the thought that counts)
