I don't think of soccer as being a sport for "sissies". I like it a lot, but it doesn't have the bone shattering appeal of American football.

I wish I could get as excited about Euro 2008 as y'all, because there ain't much else to get worked up about right now. I'll watch the game of course. However I need guidance as to who to pull for.

It was hard to get excited about here in England, George, because - gasp!! - we weren't in it! However it was easy for me to pick up the enthusiasm (to say the least) of the Turks whilst there.

Now they're out it has just got boring.
