Thanks, that helped - I think.

What is a Palinite? A bunch of old friends, and yes humor is needed, otherwise, what's the point?

The only Palinite I've met in person is Sighthound (Geraldine). I've spoken with Pete on the phone.

I haven't been traveling much lately (it takes money). I might get to San Diego in March, but even that's up in the air.

I hope to meet the rest of you one day.

Missy and I are having a Palinite gettogether next week, I expect that there will be creme eggs and coffee involved. We are going to visiit a lavender farm, they do devonshire teas with scones made from lavender....yum!

They also do lavender shortbreads and honey and lavender ice cream!

I just watched a movie last night called "It's complicated" Meryl Streep, Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin. It really is a very funny movie. She mentions lavender and honey ice cream in the movie. I wonder if it is like truffle's though? Great at first and then overkill?

I'm new here but it seems a load of fun being a Palinite.

LOL Johnny!!

Don't know if I would like lavender scones (etc) though I do LURVE scones.

I can remember my Mom sewing little bags of cotton, maybe 2" square?, and then filling them with dried lavender from the garden. She would then put them in clothes drawers (I put that rather than put 'in drawers' to avoid the question 'in hers?' lol)

But in food? Don't know.

:)
