katec, if you're up for the challenge, that would be great! especially if you're going to be there actually on the day! imagine if he was there at the office! *faints* oh, what happened? i'll be okay....

so yeah, the address is mayday productions, 34 tavistock street, london wc2.

(i got the address from this site, by the way - i don't have any inside info or anything like that!)

so katec, are you going to be anywhere around west-central london???

anyone else in london help me out with directions? or if kate can't deliver it....???

jeeez i wish i was still there!

as well, i'm wondering about when to begin the birthday thread here. it's already april 7. i'm pretty certain that mike does not frequent this site (and he's away right now anyway, filming) so.... would it be alright if i started the thread?

i know i haven't been here long. but i've adored michael since i was 7 years old.

but if folks want to let someone else start it, that's fine as well. just let me know because i think we should start it sooner rather than later, so that as many folks as possible get a chance to write their message.

let me know please and thankyou!

peace, love and michael

piglet (dr.)

I'll start it, if someone will let me know when. Can't deliver the printouts, bit far from home.

By the way, Dr. Piglet, it's not WC2 what I saw in flying circus it was SW3 but I mean, it's the same kind of weird thing with the letters and number what made me think about it (but now, that I understood it, it's not that weird anymore). Anyway, I saw it in the Vocational Guidance Counsellor sketch, you know, the one where Michael Palin wants to become a lion tamer and John Cleese turns in the end to the camera and says that people should write to the following address which ends with Basil Street, London SW3.

I thought it was "Prominent Palin Productions"?? Is it Mayday Productions? Shoot, I think I messed up on the address when I wrote him :(
Re: michael wrote to me! by Dr. Piglet on 7 April 2005 7:59pm
prominent and mayday are the same thing, kind of. it's the same address, both michael's companies. so it shouldn't matter which one you sent to.

bruce, sure, start it whenever you like then. :)

I am still not sure whether I will be able to deliver it yet, date is not 100% certain. I should know within the next couple of days. Does anyone here live in London, or definitely able to deliver, just in case I can't?

I suppose if all else fails we could try trusting the postal service to deliver it on time ;)

Anyway, for now we can start planning/writing our birthday greetings for him. :)

Dr Piglet. The London postcodes do not get larger the further away from the centre. It's alphabetical from the area.
ie. W2 Bayswaater
W8 Kensington
W9 Maida Val
W11 Notting Hill

N9 Edmonton
N22 Winchmore Hill

Just thought you'd be interested
