LOL! Arty, you eat four Krispy Kreme donuts like that, folks will think you are a cop.

The two Krispy Kreme stores in town went out of business in a rather rude fashion. Even store managers were not told. People showed up to work and saw the sign on the door.

You can still get the donuts in other stores in town.

Awesome. I love a good cinnamon doughnut, although Dunkin Donuts has a toasted coconut variety that's yummy. I get them every time I go up north to my dad's family.

Our local Dunkin Donuts was closed for two weeks for renovation. This particular Dunkies, the workers are almost all Mexican. Yes, dunkies, especially the coffee!

Why are there drive up Dunkin Donuts? "Cause the cops are lazy. Actually, they eat bagels now. Too many donuts, too hard for overweight cop to chase young bad guy through utility alleys and over fences.

I was shocked! I went to the local Dunkin' Doughnuts and the employees were ALL Canadian. Even the Mexican fellow was Canadian!

Haven't felt like hanging around the past few days, but I do believe I'm on the mend!

Here's a hint ... Take the doctor's advice with a grain of salt. Listen and follow directions, by all means, but listen to your own instincts, too.

During my exam, I asked my doctor about taking Pepto, and she said not to bother. It wouldn't do any good. Sounded okay to me. Besides, I have trouble taking the stuff. Something about the consistency gets to me. So, I didn't take it.

Well, long about this past Wednesday, I was about at the end of my tether. Not to be gross, but EVERYTHING was going right through me. I got on the Internet and started doing some more research. It turns out that, if the cause is bacterial (which mine is), the drug in Immodium can actually cause the issue its supposed to prevent.

On Thursday, I bought me a bottle of Pepto. Yucky stuff. Hate it. But I gotta admit it did the trick. I'm not cured yet, but I believe I'm definitely on the way.

It's a big relief, in more ways than one. I'm going this week to get my travel papers for Greece, and the trip itself is just two weeks away!

Thank you all for your kind words, and I hope the others among us who are feeling poorly start getting better real soon!

Are you not in a good mood today, Pete? You live in the most beautiful place in the world - how could you not be happy? Well, give your dog a hug; that always helps me.
