I saw this on the news last night, the walkway did'nt look such a big deal.( had heard radio news about it first).
There seems to be a lot of controversy though about having such a "Disney" like attraction in an area of such natural beauty.

Mmmm! Well, I would go on it but I'm sure that I would be expecting it to fall while I was on it !!

We visited the canyon a few years ago, and I was surprised at the number of people who have fallen accidentally - many for stupid reasons like getting too close to the edge to get THAT picture.

In fact there is a book on sale in the information centre that lists them all!! It makes fascinating, if macabre, reading! (Didn't buy it - had a skim through it in the shop).

To get back to the bridge - I hope they keep a weight limit, and that the barriers are high and 'filled in'.

I could maybe handle it if I had a mild traqueliser and I could do it on my hands and knees. :).

Haha that's a priceless image Linz! That's really made me giggle!

Eww Anne that'd make a nasty read!

I know, Kazzzz - that's why I didn't buy it! It actuially names them, their ages, and how/why they fell.

Not a very comforting read just before you go and look!!

I know this is a horrible thing to think but I;m betting people will jump off that thing :(

Eeeeeewwww. I agree Kazzzz. Perhaps they should make it a covered walkway - but people will always find a way if they are desperate enough.

No way I'll go out there. I get the heebie-jeebeies o an exterior-facing glass elevator when it reaches the 2nd story! HAHAHAHAHAHA . If there's a wall to at elast up to my waist, I can usually handle it, but I sure can't handle seeing beneath my feet. My stomach would definitely be in my mouth and I'd definitely panic and pass out or fall to my knees and curl into a ball in tears! HAHAHAHAHAHA
