Euro 2008 soccer. by Ken Dunn on 9 June 2008 8:55pm

Good game in progress between Holland and Italy. Holland are 2 - 0 up at half-time through an off-side goal by van Nistelrooy that was allowed and a brilliant flick in just inside the post to the left of the 'keeper.

I saw some of that game, Ken. Nederland side were pretty strong. Italia did earn some shots on goal, but not enough.

Holland did very beautiful work! What's wrong with Italy??

I wonder who will be in the final. I always find that difficult to predict when talked about football, ice hockey's easier.

Faaaantastic Holland team !!! The first game I really really enjoyed watching so far. Well, Portugal was good too, but not as good as Dutch guys. I'm very glad dear old Marco Van Basted could make such a team...
Today Russia is playing Spain. Oh god.......:))) I am already embarrased LOL

Ewwww.... we lost to Spain 4-1. "That was really horrible..." (c) Deeply embarrasing indeed.

Who should I support this year? Who has a good team? Last time I supported Italy, but now I just don't know.

Spain never seem to do themselves justice in major competitions, whereas Italy sometimes start off with their camp in disarray but get stronger as the tournament progresses.

At one stage tonight the Switzerland/Turkey game looked more like it was being played in a swimming pool rather than a football pitch, the rain was so heavy!
