Rules in a Staffordshire Bull Terrier's House by Spursfan on 26 September 2008 1:42pm

I posted this under the 'Prayers and Incantations' thread, but I thought it deserved its own thread!!

We have had this on the wall, framed and topped with a photo of Tosun, for ages. The husband found it on the 'net and you adjust it to suit you.

RULES IN A STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIERS HOUSE

(By Tosun)

I am the keeper of [our house name]. I am wonderful, reliable, gentle, kind and generous... that is unless you threaten my humans and then I become a whirling dervish (which will certainly be something to behold).

It is true I do not like other dogs, but it is not because my relations were fighting dogs. GOOD GRIEF. Get real. I do not like other dogs because they are er..um..well..THEY ARE DOGS. I am NOT a dog. Is this concept so hard to grasp? WHAT?!!

I am the nanny dog me, the pride of England, and the darling of other countries, me me me.

I am the irrepressible, comical, dedicated, loyal, tenacious, STAFFIE BULL - a lean, mean, loving machine.

I am strong, stubborn, intelligent, noble, stubborn, a real character, tolerant, courageous, sweet, stubborn, modest, and did I mention, I can be a little bit stubborn?

I am NOT a 'keg on legs' I am handsome, suave and debonair.

To all who enter my home, expect a complete body search performed by me and take note, your visit will be greatly enhanced if you bring me presents.

:)
