I love Facebook:) by kazzzz on 21 February 2009 10:45am

I just had the best chat with Peter Freestone,(on Facebook) who was Freddie Mercury's personal assistant for many years and lived in Garden Lodge as part of his closest circle until the end.
What a nice man, he lives in the Czech Republic, a far cry from Kensington, we chatted about the snow there, the bushfires here, and found out we're both coffee addicts. I was amazed he even talked to me at all, he must be inundated with Queen fanatics. He was most impressed that Ava was born on Freddie's birthday.
Made my day which, quite frankly had been fairly average up to that point as I had locked myself out of the house twice, once with Ava for two hours (I lost my keys at the park ) and the other time with Ava still inside, I went to feed the cat and the door slammed and had to climb thru a window. Bah.

HAHAHAHAHA, I can see you now, Kaz--long skirt flowing and barefoot, climbing through a window. That's an image that makes me chuckle.

But awesome about your chat. Did you tell him, about when you met Brian May?

I'm not too sure what that is, but thanx.

Do you want to hear about when I met Brian May again?

Yes, PLEASE!

The most beautiful animal on earth--Ava Gardner in the movie of the same name. Beautiful, blessed but tortured in some ways. It's a phrase people use to describe someone who is admired and blessed with beauty, and sometimes pampered and spoiled. It can be endearing or a slap in the face. I said it as a loving tease, Kaz! xoxoxoxox

Now isn't that funny - I have always thought that Sophia Loren starred in that movie!! But of course you are right, Pats. Is there one of a similar name that I am getting confused with?

:)

Ooo, kazzzz, that's great! (chatting to Peter Freestone, that is, not being locked out, ha ha haaa)

Not sure, Annie. If you are talking about a movie I remember seeing Sophia Loren in, I think I can picture her in that role too. I'm really not all that familiar with the story, to be honest. But, Sophia playing that part does ring a bell... I'm going to goggle it.
