Dambisa Moyo, Dead Aid by tucsonmike on 20 June 2009 10:35pm

I finished the book. Mr. P on Pole to Pole talked about developed nations having to do more listening and less talking when he was in Kenya.

If he reads Dead Aid, I would be curious to hear his conclusions. I found it interesting, wondered how she could make her ideas work. I am not an economist and her ideas seem sound.

WIA, what do you think, having worked there?

Dambisa Moyo is a cultured Zambian lady author with some interesting views on giving international aid to Africa.

There was a good book review which can be found on the internet in THE INDEPENDENT on 30 January,2009,by Oxford University academic Paul Collier, titled:

Dead Aid by Dambisa Moyo.
