Perhaps I need a few more kids??? by Spursfan on 15 February 2010 9:08am

It certainly seems I'm doing SOMETHING wrong!

Makes me soooo cross!! What does everyone else think?

She's not broken any rules and no doubt her six young children ( so far ) will grow up to be fine British citizens.
I like to think that the landlord receiving the £7,000 a month is a member of her extended family and therefore my taxes are helping this deserving family even more.
Isn't Britain a wonderful place ?

And yet I was told I couldn't have a one bedroom flat or sick benefit because I WAS British! It's disgraceful!

That's insane. Both this chick getting the huge house for free and Terry not being able to the flat or bennies.

I have a friend who is in a similar situation, Terry. She was denied benefits because her cell phone, which is on the family plan of her sister, wasn't in the same area code as the state where she now lives.

Well it's more a case of the system at fault. Can't blame her. When I was single here with Kathryn at home I had to work 12 hour days to even claim minimal rent assistance. It was very hard. My ex paid nothing.

Oh yes very good, I especially like the part where she's called Vicky pollard in a headscarf. How intelligent.

The really interesting fact is that this woman found this house for herself and it is owned by a property company in Kenya.
The whole thing stinks of being a scam at taxpayers expense.

That's fair enough but why draw attention to an article full of barely concealed racism?

Re: Perhaps I need a few more kids??? by Spursfan on 16 February 2010 2:26pm

No, sorry I have to disagree - there's no racism there, Kazzzz.

My first question is - why does she need 5 bedrooms? She has 6 kids all 14 and under, so why can they not share rooms?

Allowing her a bedroom to herself, the MAXIMUM amount of rooms she needs is surely 4 and she could manage with 3. In fact I would MAKE her manage with 3! The baby could share her room leaving the other kids to share the other two bedrooms in a 2 and 3.

Next, just because she found this house herself, why did the housing people or DWP allow her to go into it knowing that she would be unable to pay the rent herself? They should have said, move into it if you like but we will only pay you £?? benefit. (I think the spokesman is quoted in the original article saying the normal paid is £81 per week housing benefit). She'd have thought twice then.

I'm sorry to sound harsh but I have no sympathy at all with this woman. Having six kids for a kick off is ridiculous - especially when you expect the state to pay for them and let's face it that's what she has done.

She pulls in around £95,000 a year without raising a finger (I COULD have said for lying on her back). To put this in perspective this is FOUR TIMES approx what a Theatre Nurse gets (on middle of Band 5) - and at least THEY contribute something to society!!

And a Vicky Pollard in a headscarf is EXACTLY what she is.
