THE PYTHON CHARITY BOOK YOU NEED by Chris14 on 19 April 2010 7:57pm

Hey Palinites,

It's me again from the John Cleese forum. We're so perfect over there that we created a book of a collecion of our very own super poems and stories. It was supposed to be ready for John's 70th bd in last October, and for the 40th anniversary of the Pythons - also last October, but it's ready now, in late April this year.

This is not just a fan-book. Oh, no. This is a charity book. We support the charities (5 charities!!! with one book! Can you imagine this??) that are supported by John himself:

-The Prince's Trust
-Madagascar Fauna Group
-Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust
-Spike Milligan Statue Fund
-Amnesty International.

Thank you for the attention, dear Palinites... Oh, hang on, I haven't added the links yet. We have 2 versions, a colour (for £24.34) and a B/W (for £9.71).

Colour:

And we have to confess, honestly and proudly that this book is an interactive one...

...A very Pythonesque book - an interactive colouring book for the best people! Just follow the instructions - or just create your very own and unique copy!

Yes Chris, I'll send my 24 quid to celebrate that funny but obnoxious man.

Will a Provy cheque do ?

Thanks, Johnny. It's easier to order it online from Lulu. This was my second online order EVER (the first was a dvd, just about a day before ordering this book) and even I could do it. It's really easy. :-)

I must say Chris, you guys are well organised even if your book was a bit delayed.

On this site a couple of years ago, organising a birthday card for MP signed by members of the site almost caused WW3 !

Chris, "at home" (I mean on Cleese forum) it went to umpteenth page somewhere and I sort of lost track of it, so I'd better thank you here and be sure I will order my copy. It's a MUST.
Maybe, I'll order two and give one to Michael (Palin that is). So he will be glad at least for John who has real fans with decent forum/message board.

Good idea, Kisch.

Michael Palin funds this site, does Cleese fund 'his' forum ?
And the last I heard, the Cleese forum was a dead parrot.
