This was quite nice Tootsie. I liked it enough to google translate the description,
Romance in the moonlight Eugene Smolyaninova. In the moonlight, snow, silver, and rushing along the Path that troechka ..
Can you write a brief translation of the words she is singing please? |

Loretto: You mean to say you can get translations for this hieroglyphic?? In that case I must give our Cyrill a pat on the back!!
Who is Eugene Smolyaninova? Was it William Wordsworth's secret gay Finnish lover??
I had a dream last night wherein I was being chased across the moonlit steppes at breakneck speed by 155 borzois, and I really thought I was a goner but when they caught up with me,they just started licking my face and it turned out they were only desperate to be my friends!!
<AAAGGHHH>..!!!

Earth Day is a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's environment. It was founded by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson as an environmental teach-in held on April 22, 1970 and is celebrated in more than 175 countries every year. [1] Earth Day is celebrated in spring in the Northern Hemisphere and autumn in the Southern Hemisphere. Many communities celebrate Earth Week, an entire week of activities focused on environmental issues. While the first Earth Day was focused entirely on the United States, an organization launched by Denis Hayes—the original national coordinator in 1970—took it international in 1990 and organized events in 141 nations.[2] [3] Earth Day is now observed each year on April 22 in virtually every country on Earth. Earth Day is now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network [4]. World Environment Day, celebrated on June 5 in a different nation every year, is the principal United Nations environmental observance.
There, I've done what I said I would do. I'll go back to sleep now. :-)
Yes jtm, this is a wiki cut and paste. I couldn't resist, so well done you :-) |

Earth Day ?
"....... is a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's environment."
Could you translate that into English for me ? Anyway, I'm going out to hug a tree.
Loretto, I think you've kicked the big fella into touch and moved in with bIG. |
