VIVA Las Vegas! by Lounge Trekker on 16 March 2012 12:41pm
We're going there next week. We'll get some sun, see Cirque du Soliel, get some sun, fly at http://vegasindoorskydiving.com , get some sun, have dinner at Tournament of Kings
while watching guys in armour on horses jousting, get some sun, ride a gondola on the canals of Venice, get some sun, ride bikes in the desert, get some sun, hit tennis balls whenever we feel like it, then sit around the pool in the sun.

Apart from that, we won't do much.

Forecast for Las Vegas next week:
Cloudy with a 99% chance of rain. :-)

Just kidding! Pack sun screen! I had to have an abnornal freckle removed from behind my left leg, just call me Abby Normal, above the knee last November. Sean now has to have one removed from his left shoulder blade. When he asked me if it hurt I told him no, which it didn't, but I have a 1 and a half inch scar now. He says the scar will make him look cool! He's going to tell people it was an injury sustained during a diving expedition whislt fighting off a great white shark! Thirteen year old boys, I tell ya!

Have a great trip, enjoy the SUN! But, you know, wear sunscreen!

I was going to have my Klingon wedding at the Hilton until they kicked out the Star Trek Experience who were renting space from them(party poopers!).

Hey Loretto, I thought you'd warn me not to fly too crazy and to wear a good helmet. I'll be wearing my hockey teeth guard because I have no dental insurance. If you go to their site, several videos have been put up with a few of the best fliers doing tricks. It is way cool.

I'll have sunscreeen, but I'm paying good money for this opportunity to get a week of extra sun, so I won't be using it until I've had 'enough sun' and I'm done. I've parboiled myself with the electric beach and I want to get every minute of real sun as I can.

I deserve it.

I want to see a video of you eating a peach while you 'fly' Pete. ;)

Re, the sunscreen. Our Celtic skins shouldn't be exposed to too much sun Loretto, particularly your lad's complexion. I was quite badly sunburned here in Scotland in 1976 and never have been again since no matter where I've travelled.

Heh heh...there'd be peach juice everywhere. I'm thinking I need every braincell concentrating on not falling off the wind...or whatever they call it! So maybe not.

I just love the sun. It is the only god I worship. I am in it every minute it is above the horizon at 50 degrees, 14 degrees south will make the sun that much more intense...hence the sunscreen...if I need it. I'll take my chances.

Oh man! Sun every day, we have a car so the options are numerous. I will make a better postingwith links to photos and videos if I survive the trip home.

Stay tuned...I CAN FLY!

Have a great time Pete. If you strike rich on one of those $1,000,000 slot machines.......remember your online friends. :)
