Once again, the village has been invited to a 'Local Community Briefing Day' at the M.O.D. site in the village.

The programme sounds brill.

14.00 Arrival and Coffee
14.15 Station and Unit Presentations
15.00 Low Flying Presentation
15.30 Visit Unit Displays
16.15 Depart

This takes place on 3rd July - THE DAY BEFORE WE FLY BACK FROM TURKEY!!!

Ohhh that sounds ace! Sadly Anne I don't think I'll make it either.

Oh no Kazzz!! I'd better let them know. They'll be sooo disappointed, I understand they were planning to dress the base in purple and include Creme Eggs with the coffee.


It is lovely, in my view, that they make such an effort to be part of the local community.

Second year out of two that we have missed it! [Don't want to go enough to cut short our hols, though!!]

Spent SOOOOOO many years at 16MU RAF Stafford, all of them good times, a lot of them on TSW...You know what I am on about Anne.
