The Chatter Box : Blathering On
Stopping In. by tucsonmike on 12 October 2015 2:59am
I've been mainly working on essays, and my friend Anastase's biography. My goal is to finish my response to Boris Johnson's book The Dream of Rome. I should make the biography priority, but my created mind wanders. I need a secretary, lol! I had to put my New Orleans mystery on hold. The first part needs major editing. I may redo my Gullah book as a spooky romance and dedicate it to Georgia Romance Writers. I hope all are well. I have been mainly doing Facebook on my Android, while on the bus. Easier to keep up that way. Back to work.

You need a secretary, Mike? I'm available and, at the moment, I'll work for free just to have something to keep my mind alive. Please tell us more about Anastase and what is Johnson's Dream of Rome and why does it need a response? I am so happy that you are doing so much good work. I'd like to call you soon but, in all the chaos of my recent hasty move, my address book is somewhere in some box that I can't yet find so please e-mail me your phone number.

I moved out to this godforsaken desert to do what I expected and wanted to do for the rest of my life - getting service dogs to the people who need them. I spent a lot of time and money and training getting a non-profit going only to discover that my partner in the project who I'd done great internet work with for over eight years was a secret and horrible animal hoarder, worse than anything you've ever seen on Animal Planet. Hoarders, like other addicts, are very adept at hiding their problem so I had to deep-six the non-profit and I'm now out here and can't afford to move. There is no way I can do the service dog project on my own except for training a few for individual people so, if anyone out there needs any help on anything, call on me! I need something intelligent to do. About the only thing that can be said for Ridgecrest ("The Gateway to Death Valley" as it bills itself) is that is very cheap to live here so I can survive on Social Security but I doubt if more than 10% of the population here has ever heard of Monty Python and probably less that 1% know who Stephen Sondheim (my other obsession) is. So if any of you bright people out there need any help on anything please call on me. I'm a very good researcher and writer and have great creds and I'm not just cheap, I'm free.

Geraldine, I emailed you with the phone number. My other phone had a fatal blip LOL! I like the new phone better. I may take you up on the Secretary part LOL! At the moment, I finished translating what Anastase wrote, and putting together the chapter on Rwandan History.
