I'm alive and I can safely say none of the other Kiwi Palinites were hurt by the earthquake. It was in the wop-wops of the South Island. Just in case some Palinites don't know what wop-wops means it is 'in the middle of nowhere'. On the News they said if it had been centred under a city, there would have been huge trouble. Not surprising with an earthquake at 7.1.

We get them all the time. It is due to the sheep jumping up and down at the same time. They use their woolly telepathic ears and you hear a "Baa, baa, baa, BAAAAAAAA!" (In English, 1, 2, 3 JUMP!) and then the earthquake hits.

Really Dianne? I thought it was due to a fault line running beneath the country, or something like that. I must be on the wrong wavelength... ;)

Just goes to show Michelle, don't believe everything scientists tell ya. Always ask the 'ordinary' folk. We know what is really going on. :-)

Di!! ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL!!!!!!!!!! :^}

Yes Yes, the sheep, bless 'em.

I was in bed reading with John happily snoring next to me when the quake/err sheep jumping started ( 12.14am ).
Our bed started doing the Fandango with our bedroom door trying to 'cut in', swaying wildly!!

The earth definately moved that night and John didn't even wake up!!!!!!!!!!! :^}

Baaaaaaaaaaaaa :^}
