WOW !!!! Its nice to know that there is interest in my new man hehehehe
Helen he is just lovely and he is just perfect for what I want.He Hacks and has done a fair bit of jumping which has always been what I loved doing most. so he,s fairly well educated, would like to see how he fairs in the dressage arena. I think its going to take a while before my fitness level improves, seeing my riding has been very patchy over the years and I,m very unfit ( cough cough ) and when we have pony club I can ride him and take the kids out for little trail rides as I,m an instructor as well.Would you like a pic of him when I get the email that I did have of him ?? Tell me more about how much dressage you,ve done Helen ?? Do you have any pics ??

He sounds wonderful. I would LOVE a pic!!!!!
I can relate to the fitness level thing- i am just getting back into dressage after a too long hiatus.I satrted off hunt seat/jumping when I was a kid. I rode quite a bit of dressage when I was in college. I lived and worked at Woodc o c k Hill riding academy and a got free lessons and a room in the student house in exchange for mucking stalls, grooming, feeding and tacking up lesson and training horses.. And the school had a British Horse Society training course that attracted students from all over the world-- my roomies over the years came from Germany, Australia, Ireland, Hungary and various US states. It was great. So I go to be a guinea pig for the students in their lessons. I was just getting to graduate from the leg yield to a shoulder-in when I graduated college and needed to find a real job. After that time, my riding was sporadic. A trail ride here and there...
BUT now, I am taking private lessons from Kerrie March a USDF bronze medalist who studied with Lendon Freakin' Gray! I am so excited...... my goal is to eventually be an instructor and show. Tell me how one gets to be an instructor... I really want a new day job... ;)
wish me luck....
I don't have any good pics.... but I can ceratinly send the ones I have... send me stuff! my e-mail is in the vital stats listing.
I am also a racing nut.
go here to get addicted-

How are you ect ect ect !!!! Missed you too

So I got the house and the horse !!!
Howzat then hehehehehehe

So Helen that is very impressive !! My biggest mistake was stopping at 17 after I went to the Western Australian State Pony Club Trails, where Pony Clubs come from all over the State to compete in a 3 Day Event, considering that I did very well, came 3rd in the state for Dressage which has been my least favourite of the three disciplines, I loved cross country the best, so was very suprised to have done so well. Been going to shows since I was seven. My first time was a little shetland, a real little character and I had a great time. From then on I went to all the shows , did Pony club for years and years and when I was a Teenager, started instructing little kids how to ride at the riding school where I practically lived, actually I was there more than I was at home hmmm I can,t think why. But I kick myself for giving up I had it all going so well, had the best horse in the world, 15 hh thoroughbred, He was the perfect gentleman and he loved to jump, just like me. But things have changed again and my daughters are riding now and now I,ve been given a wonderful gift, so who knows, I might win a few ribbons. Oh and Helen I,ve never left australia, so It wasn,t me but I do Love Vegemite !!!!

Oh Yeah, there is good money if you are a good instructor, it takes abit to get there, I,m going to do my D and D* as soon as I get some time but that is just for pony club. I,m not too sure so don,t take my word for this, I think there are courses you can do over the internet, but will double check on that one.
