Dead parrot for Xmas? by Benedikte on 21 December 2002 3:13pm

Hello you united Palin lovers... For those still wondering what to prepare for Christmas eve... get rid of that bloody stuffed turkey! Throw away that horrendous pudding! Let's introduce DEAD PARROT to the menu this year! I'm sure Michael wouldn't mind, as he's had dead goat in the desert already :). All other suggestions are welcome... so start dropping them now! You'll get my eternal admiration in return. Ni!!!! Love, Bene x

'Everybody......."

"On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me... an ex-parrot in an oak tree.

On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me... Two compasses and an ex-parrot in an oak tree...."

See the thread "Re: on the First day of Christmas" for the rest... :-}

Hmmmm, there's not much meat on an ex-parrot, perhaps if we smeared it with marmite and stuffed it with spam??? ( I know, I know, groan, groan..........I'll promise to try harder, I'll promise to try harder, I'll promise to try harder..................I will! :-} )

Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy to go Ellen! Fancy starting a restaurant in uptown London? Could be a real success!!! Bicycle Repair Man-dish for starters, Silly Walks soup, Fish Slapping Special as main course... and "Holy Grail au chocolat" as desert! I can feel the vibes already!!!

Ellen;
How about smearing the dead parrot with chocolate and stuff it with strawberries? Then again . . . . perhaps not . . . .

An ex-parrot smeared with marmite and stuffed with Spam???

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...

Of course, I wouldn't eat the parrot to begin with. ;O)

And I'll pass on the Bicycle Repairman-dish as well - I mean, I don't know if Michael's meat is to my taste... ;O) (Mandatory response whenever someone or something is missing: 'I ate it.').

Sorry Rusted if I made you think I'm a cannibal *grin* - 'cause it's very untrue! I would never hurt my fellow earthlings. Hope this message will make sure your x-mas is peaceful anyhow :) Have a nice one, and that goes for all Palinites!

Dear Palinites,
As a prolific letter writer, I feel compelled to comment on this thread. I happen to know a lot of Palinites, and only a few of them are cannibals.
Yours etc,

PS Happy Holly Daze my twisted sisters!

Helen

YOU wouldn't happen to be one of those cannibals, would you? I mean: I've only been a member of the club for a couple weeks and somehow I start to get the feeling this is a cover-up for very dark activities... (KIDDING). Well I'm off to the couch now - have to give my boyfriend the X-mas hug of the year! Enjoy all your elaborate suppers, beloved Palinites!

Errrrrrrr...had to skip a day of the Palin board so I hope I can catch up here.

Reading this topic header (Dead Parrot for Xmas?) rather made me laugh because today...well...I DID get a dead parrot for Christmas. Well, the box that it's in declares it's a *live* parrot, but it's on its back, and that tongue hanging out and the x's on his eyes make me RATHER suspicious...

;O)

Anyone else got one of those stuffed Python dealies? The parrot or the killer rabbit or the penguin on top of the telly?
