List of Palinites having met Michael by Mr. Anchovy on 7 February 2003 3:53pm

Hi there. Usually I should be sitting at home learning marketing and statistics as I'm in the middle of two weeks of exams here at my university, but I need some time off.
I had the idea that we could start a list with all Palinites who have met Michael. Would be interesting to see who met Michael when, where and his/her home town/ country.
I'm curious how many people will be on the list!

Best regards from Mr.Anchovy

I met Michael at a book-signing he did after giving a Pole To Pole lecture. The venue was the Whitla Hall in Queens University of Belfast (Northern Ireland). I'm guessing it was around October/November 1992.

USA: Patty~ In 2000, in Washington D.C. after his Hemingway lecture and signing. Met Basil Pao as well. Sat directly behind Michael prior to his introduction. (2nd row center was my seat, and Michael was first row ,center. I sat next to the Pao family-- his daughter was immediately to my right).

USA: Yes, I forgot to mention that I had my photo taken with Michael too, in D.C. in 2000. Also have a few of him by himself, looking quite cute, of course!
