Meet & greet?? by sminobe on 14 March 2005 7:46pm
I'll be in London -- Bayswater to be precise -- June 26-30 & briefly on July 11 at least in the morning (not sure when the train leaves for Stirling). Anyone available for lunch or dinner or just coffee/tea?

sminobe is that safe trying to meet strangers?

I don't know. MP seems to do it a lot & I've modelled my life after his (as should we all)! ;-)

Re: Meet & greet?? by intrepid on 15 March 2005 10:46pm
I think it would be safer if you just "greet" and forget about the "meet" part. You wouldn't even have to leave home. Sorry.

lol Well I would say to bear in mind the usual rules of care, but hey, go for it, after all, I met up with two other palinites and life hasn't been the same since! I would forward myself to meet up but I have no idea what's doing in June yet! But if you're ever passing through Leeds then post it on up! Have fun!

hey Cori and I met up and got along famously. we met in a public place so if I creeped her out she could make a quick exit. :)

really, just meet in a public place, don't give out your social security number and it should be a hoot. And as Thomas says, bear in mind the rules, and just use common sense.

OK.... So your (collective) advice as I understand it is that we're a pretty scary bunch & it's best not to be within physical presence...

Well, thanks & it's been nice NOT meeting any of you!

However, if any of you feel like Living Dangerously, just give a holler!
