Would Michael Want to Stay in a Caboose? by tucsonmike on 23 August 2005 1:48am
This time, I have it in the right place and have done some needed editing. Serves me right for posting and being bleary eyed.

Saturday, August 20th was the 230th Anniversary of the Spanish founded Tucson. Again, the Tohono Oodham have been here a lot longer and would beg to differ). I did a stint in the Railroad Museum today and our board President brought in British visitors to his B&B from Manchester. (One of the visitors had worked for Britrail). It made me think to put up the following two sites:

Saguaro Artisans. They are in a building of the Railroad Depot that used to be the Railway Express building (An American company that preceded United Parcel and shipped via rail all over the U.S.). They are an artists coop. (You can order some of their products through the website).

If Michael came here, he could stay in a caboose. One of the rooms in the beforementioned B&B is an old Southern Pacific Caboose. (It would be tough to get the entire camera crew in there).
It's called Karrels Double K Ranch.
