Bill Richardson for President? by tucsonmike on 4 January 2006 1:34am

This is heavily for Sight and Canaveral. I heard from the person who runs the Bill Richardson site. I guess a campaign for Bill is being built.

Good news, mike! Thanks for the info.

Well let's see what happens, Sight. I was thumbing through his book last Friday in Borders.

A Bill Richardson candidacy will be good, no matter the result. The fastest growing "minority" in the US is Hispanic, and there should be representation in the campaigns. I mean, there shuld be representation of ALL groups. You know what I mean!

I just borrowed his book from the library tonight. I'll let you know how it is.

I finished the book. Interesting. If he were elected President, we'd never be bored, that's for sure.

I am more cognizant this evening. I used to bring him up as an example in my public speaking classes about skilled negotiation. I can already forsee some issues in Arizona with the ongoing border problems, because Richardson is part Mexican. If people want I will post something about the Minutemen elsewhere.:-|
Politics is his life, no other way to put it. George, this is your chance to chime in. I know of no dirt on Richardson.
I did enjoy the book but of course it was written by Richardson himself. I realized reading the book he may not run if Hillary does, because he and Bill Clinton are friends. We will have to see.
I am frustrated with who we get as candidates. I want someone competent who can keep us on the rails.
Luckily, Arizona's Governor, Janet Napolitano is one of the best in the country. She is terrific. Not sure she would run, though.
