Has anyone had a reply from MP from a letter? by Pdrummy on 19 March 2006 3:01am

I'm going to send one over th next few days, and i'm wondering about the chances of a reply from the great man himself? I'm not holding out much hope, he's probably extremely busy.

Several people here have said he's replied. And some at least got an autographed photo of the man. Good luck!

I sent him a gift, a little box that looks like an old tattered suitcase, sent it all the way to London, and invited him on behalf of myself and my husband for a drink in Key West when he was filming "Hemingway." I got a letter back from the Gumby Corp. administrative asst.

Come to think of it, that does sound a little "stalky." Sorry, Michael!!

i sent him a letter but got a reply from his secretary i think it was.

i'm too scared to write to him again, as he could think i'm a stalker too. lol. when i met him i told him i love him, and then i wrote to him, and then a few months later i was at his office giving the birthday thread.

i think i might give it a few more months before i write to him again...

never try ringing his agent as the bloke on the other end was rather rude. i wanted to slap the guy. all i wanted was Tery Gilliam's new agent's address.

I got a lovely signed photo from him, but alas, no letter from the man himself, only one from his personal assistant. Although, some of you might remember my friend Dr Piglet got a very sweet handwritten letter from him last year. I'm still very jealous of her to this day.
I'm thinking of sending him something for his birthday... but I don't want to come across as a complete stalker either!
