Wish me luck, or whatever the I-don't-believe-in-fate equivalent is by notquitenglish on 28 March 2003 5:21am

...Because I'm shoving myself out there... my printer sits beside me and it's doing it's job, printing up copies of my novel so I can send them to the harsh editors out there in the world....this is the seventh book I've written, but probably the best, if you can apply the term "Best" to anything I've written....so give my "Soldier's Brannigan" a thought or two, and if you ever see it in Barnes and Nobles, you'll know where it came from... from a Palin fan, just like everybody else.

Good luck!

But what happens when your novel is accepted, it becomes number one and you become famous?

Let's hope you don't spend too much time in the trees when you're famous.

Good luck with your book!

A word of advice though: if you want to keep your anonymity I suggest you write under a pseudonym. This will greatly decrease the chances of any "hero worshipping" that might arise as a result of your fame because, you know, it wouldn't really be YOU that people are worshipping! Further more, it will limit the possiblity of avid fans wishing to organize a.. *gasp*.. "convention" that would doubtlessly have you running for the trees!

Seriously though, all the best!

Cheers,
Michelle :)
