It's Freezing in Tucson! by tucsonmike on 21 December 2006 1:50am

It is -3 Celsius for goodness sake. I expect that in Flagstaff, not here! Mount Lemmon just got snow

In Scotland we have had only about 5 frosty starts to the day this year so far and the wettest month or so across the UK for many years. Isn't the weather unpredictable?!

Better wear your wooly jumpers, Mike! Maybe global warming is bringing the average temperature up, but extremes can be greater. It's a balmy 6 degrees here, but stormy and wet...a relatively normal winter evening for this area.

You folks in Tucson must find it very cold indeed. Anytime it's below zero in this area, we just turn off the lights and fly to Hawaii!

Be very careful. Pregnancies occur under such conditions. :^D

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten, and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow

Whoops, sorry - carry on!

You have a place named after a Melbourne train station (Flagstaff) and a mountain named after Jack. That's fab!! :o)

This fog is really creepy, especially at night! I've got my heating back on now too but no gas hob.
