Re: Japanese Palinites or language students? by Godfather on 7 December 2004 4:18pm

Michael has that Japanese female fan he met in 80 days. Perhaps you could track her down :) I think she's a high flying executive now,and probably married with many kids though :)

Hello,

I am from the UK, but I have lived in Japan for over seven years. I work as a translator and I love Mr. Palin's books and programmes.

My wife has bought me Michael's box-set for Christmas, so I am looking forward to seeing the programmes I have missed while living in Japan.

Hello~

I've lived in Japan all my life, but now I study at the University of Nottingham,

Watashi mo nihon go shaberaremasu yo ;)

I love Michael Palin's travels, I hope in the future I can go on some adventures myself!

JET Scheme by GaijinGirl on 30 January 2005 1:45pm

I am a current JET for the second time (the first time I was in Shimane from 1990-1993, and I am again in Shimane). It is an excellent way to live and work in Japan. See www.jetprogramme.org for details, but PLEASE have a genuine interest in the people and in teaching, and not in paying off student debt as many participants seem to have as their prime motivation!
