I didn't realise there were so many flood plains in England. The rain has been so persistent that the problem is not going away. Scotland, as far as I am aware, has had no serious flooding although we have had lots of rain. It must be the hills giving good drainage.
The press today report that a lot of our crops of wheat, barley, peas, potato and salad have been destroyed or seriously depleted so if you have any of these in surplus we are probably interested. I only say probably because I am not actually a buyer/importer of these food items.
Help is also needed with getting fresh water to the affected areas as the water supplies have been contaminated.

Heard that more heavy rain is on the way. Everyone in the flooding areas are in my thoughts. :)
