Hey Sue- Yes, I made it down there after alot of indecision. Wish i saw you. He was great! (as usual). But he got a bit peeved by people using flash cameras after the staff asked them not to. Glad it wasn't me... How long was the line? I couldn't see up the stairs.

Hi Andrea, you must have been close to the front of the queue. I was about halfway up the stairs when I got there and lots more people came after me.

I don't blame him getting peeved about the flash cameras.

I wish I had seen you but I wasn't sure whether I would be able to make it.

Oh, Sue and Andrea, I AM sorry to have missed you! Yes, I got there 11.40 & the queue already forming, so i just joined it & was aware of it snaking up the stairs.Yes, the flash cameras started early, but even so the whole thing seemed well organised \7 better than most political meet-a-political-star gigs I've been to.
Wasn't he NICE!
Will you two - or anyone - be at Institute of Education next week? I've got tickets.
Linda

Never mind, Linda, maybe another time.

Unfortunately, I can't make the Institute of Education talk - I will be in Wales.

Hi guys,

First timer here...
I made it to the signing today at Hatchards. If anyone saw a blonde in a purple top hobbling round with a stick, that was me!
I've just come out of hospital after pretty major surgery, and was always determined that I would be on my feet by today in order to make the signing.
I got ushered in to see MP by the staff, and after hearing my tale of woe, MP left a message in my book saying "Get well soon. Thank you so much for making the book signing."

It made my day :-)

Lucky Girl!Unlucky Girl!
The green eyes of envy are upon you. However, I wouldn't wish your predicament on anyone.

Bunniegirl, so glad you persevered and were able to have this wonderful experience with MP. Be well!

Bunniegirl, I think I saw you. Were you sitting down at one point? I do hope that you recover soon and so glad you made the book signing. I also heard Michael speak to you.

Suzulu, yes! That was me sitting just down from the signing desk! I got there about 11.45, and got thoroughly looked after by the staff there.
I'm recovering well - thanks all of you for your wishes. Had to have a tumour removed from my liver, but I'm on the mend.
