Kazzzz, apparently Kevin Rudd's taste for his own earwax is attracting international media attention. Must have been a slow news day...

The "Don't vote for Labor, they're too inexperienced" line really pisses me off. Of course the ALP are inexperienced, they've been in opposition for the past eleven years. Are we supposed to vote for the Liberal Party for all eternity? What use would an election be then?

As for the US Presidential campaign - STEPHEN COLBERT FOR PRESIDENT!

John Cleese has some interesting bits on politics. For some reason, I can't get them to come up right now, but here's the page with the links:

I love the bit on extremism, but it's about 10 minutes long.

Steven Colbert for President? A good idea. At least we would have some humor.

Good luck John Howard - a true and decent man.

The best PM of Australia in modern history.

Labour is now accusing the Conservative party of inexperience. Just wanted to restore a degree of political balance.

I adore Steven Colbert. My mother just bought his book,

"I Am America. And So Can You".

I bet it's hilarous. Such a clever individual.

Not long to go now guys! With any luck, in 100 hours time, John Howard will be electoral history!

Neither of us have had a chance to red any of it yet. Too much happening here with cleaning houses and preparing for Thanksgiing and Christmas. Soon, though, which, for us, means after the new year begins!
