I agree with you on all points, Mike, from Red Sox/Yankees to Americans. There are places in CT where "Go, Red Sox!" is fightin' words.
I think everyone loves their home country, regardless of what their government does. Every country has natural beauty and good people in it. Mr. Palin probably knows that better than almost anyone! I wish we could make world travel a mandatory part of education, instead of mandatory military service, as some countries have. 2 years of world travel after high school might help people understand one another better. |
