Re: Pailin's anti-serb bias by Katia on 19 November 2007 12:23pm

Dear princepetr,

Please settle down. This is not a proper discussion and it leads you nowhere. Even if you had a point about Serbia and all (which you may have at times and not all you say is unreasonable), the *Subject line* you had initially put in this thread would not let me take you seriously and it just automatically set me (not only me I think) against everything you say. Whatever Michael might have omitted or deliberately left out, ascribing an "anti-nation bias" to him is very... juvenile, unfair, mean and, well, to be blunt - simply stupid. Because it is a quite serious accusation you know. And a *sane* person would never call this man "anti-nationalist". Whoever else, not him anyway.

And a little renounce here. The fact that I am Russian (as it has been mentioned, not by me, I do not really care) does not mean anything special. I do not have allies. I mean, personally. I speak only for myself, right?

Princepetr, you say we know little of the subject. So give a little lesson if you want (well right you've done that) and try to awake our interest then. But not by trying to discredit Michael, all right? Thanks.

UPD - seems you have found an adequate respondent/opponent in the Series section. I am all right with that:) This section does not really need this topic to be developed here.

Ok Princepetr, my curiousity has the better of me now. If you are not a Serb, which ethnic group are you and what got you so interested?

Fair enough. I was just pointing out that Palin's lie/error in the New Europe Book re; Milosevic being found guilty is symptamatic of the BBC's longstanding anti Serbian Bias.

Princepetr, your "mild response" to my rants and raves is absolutely disarming:)

Sorry, I can't comment on the problem, I am not interested enough as I've got a mess of my own long-suffering country here. Not that I think of it night and day, the anticipation of a two-week holiday in London (in just a few days) is much more exciting than that. I'm really selfish!

Johnny... the Essex boys are quite reasonable if you ask me:)))

Be careful - Johnnythemonkey seems like a right numpty weirdo to me. Mike seems alright ,though I think he can be easily led. Hahaha. Goodbye, I cannot cast my pearls before the swine anymore, it's boring arguing with people who have no arguments!!
