lol, these are fantastic paintings, and, Elina, I'm sure I have seen at least one in Kiasma museum. Could it be ? Very distinctive style.
Finnish art is generally fascinating, it's kind of close to nature. |

I'm glad your enjoying the paintings. I wish to have one original painting one day instead of postcards... :)
Kisch, there's possibly been one in Kiasma, his paintings have been in many different exhibitions, I saw one in Ateneum (our national art museum).
Yes, very close nature around here. One of our national treasures is a huge (I mean really huge) painting about fighting wood grouses (I just checked that word from my dictionary, we call them 'metso'). (But we don't, in my experience, have pony trekking here, that's more in Iceland and Norway.)
If you people learn to say that word, that's great! I still can't remember it, and I've been practising for years. Tricky language.
And by the way... Nobody excepts the Spanish Inquisition! |
