That was always my gripe too. We recnetly switched to FiberOptics and have travel. But I missed many of his other series due to travel not being a "mainstream" channel. Wish he'd go back to Nova , PBS or Discovery. Everybody gets those... You'd think whoever is in charge of getting the programs on air would work towards reaching the most people possible.

We have a 17-year-old 13" color portable TV in the living room. It's our only TV. It gets 4 or 5 channels because reception is bad here and we don't have cable. If it were up to my husband, we wouldn't have a TV at all. Sigh. I keep telling him that I'd stop buying so many DVDs if he'd just give in and sign up for cable, but he won't. He hates TV, and he doesn't understand my obsession with celebrities in general or Python in specific. SIGH. Oh well, he's good in other ways, nudge nudge, wink wink. LOL

Well, you better get on your hubby's good side and try to convince him to buy you a new tv before 2009. After that, there's no ore analog tv being broadcast in the USA. All present analog tv's will be obsolete, from what I understand. I can't see this really happening, but that's what they say..... There might be something one can do to make an old set work, but for how long, I don't know. Anyway, it's going to be a costly turnover for the population, I know that!

Kazzzz, does your local library stock DVDs? Maybe they'll be getting New Europe?
