An excuse for an extra holiday? Can't be bad - let's have England Day. Oh alright Johnny you can have Scotland Day too.

I'll say no to a Scotland Day. It would be hijacked by ' professional ' Scots like Sean bloody Connery ( lisping half-wit. )
An England Day ? Is there enough of you left to warrant it ?

Well I can imagine the pc brigade would have a fit!!!

Too few English celebrate St Georges Day in my view (my birthday, ahem!!) which I suppose could be called England Day. And you know how the pc brigade don't like us to have the flag of St George flying, don't we?!!

Why?!! It's our flag for f*** sake!!!

It's not like Scottish people are real people or anything.

Australia day - and any other national day - is fine by me.

I'm quite happy to take notice of St. George's Day - 23rd April - also Shakespeare's birthday, how appropriate - one can often celebrate that by a visit to one of his plays.

There is no such thing as English. You are a mongrel race.

Re: Happy Australia Day! by mrsthing on 29 January 2008 3:47am

Yes, but mongrels frequently have better genes because they haven't been IN-BRED!

I'm Celtic through and through. I can trace my family for hundreds of years. No alien blood.....pure Scots/ Irish.

Creme de la creme.

My condolences, what an uncosmopolitan, boring bloodline you have.
