Obviously my humour is too subtle for you BB - I was being ironic!! I do realise that you are yet another alias of Morse, Michael I, etc etc but I thought even YOU would understand irony!!!

And most people on here know that I go to Turkey regularly, and I have mentioned Kusadasi before. But for you (sigh) it is on the Aegean coast of Turkey.

When my ex was in the US Navy on sea duty, his Med ship often docked in Kusadasi. He said the people there always had goats in the restaurants. lol

I'm strictly a cross-country skier, and I haven't done that in so long my boots disintegrated in the closet and had to be discarded. I need new skis now--they don't make boots for the kind of bindings I have. Not that we get enough snow in CT or the right kind to do any meaningful skiing. And Mr. Thing doesn't like to go away in the winter. Oh, well...

I am guessing this was quite a long time ago, Pats, (probably pre-1970's?) because I have been going to Kusadasi since 1988 and have never yet seen a (live) goat in a restaurant!! Cats begging for food (the tables are usually outside in the summer) yes, goats no!!

Before it became the cosmopolitan resort it now is, it used to be a small farming community. So perhaps thats where the goats come in? Here's a bit about it:

lol. Yes, it was a long time ago. In the late 60's -early 70's. I know things have changed.
