Am I the only person who thinks Elliot's letter was extremely rude ?

Thanks, B.blogger: Elliot, yes, please do let us know what a reply says (though I have a fear they will, in their glastly arrogant way, chuck your letter into the nearest wastepaperbasket)

johnnythemonkey:Would you be prepared to send a similar letter, from a BRITISH Palin supporter,to the Gentlemen of the Elite Reform Club,in PALL Mall,London, but adapting Elliott's letter to omit what you consider to be the "extremely rude" bits? Thus, I presume you were alluding to the reference "horses-arse buffoons" (which I personally thought went a bit too far)
plus the inference that the Reform Club places more importance on wealth than character. Let us have your ideas on this one, johnny.

Firstly, people should get their facts right. Women are admitted to the club on an equal basis to men and the club now has 400 women members out of a total of 2,700.
As for being turned away at the door, non-members can be shown around the club in the morning ( by prior arrangement ), though I'm not sure if that would include T.V crews.

I've been invited to join The Reform Club several times but I don't care to belong to a club that accepts people like me as members. :)

As for Elliot.......if you want to know how to draft a REAL rude letter, get in touch.

Do these women have to wear fake beards?

Re: The Reform Club by tucsonmike on 19 July 2008 4:53am

Are there any women here? No women are supposed to be at stoning.
