Thanks Katie! Speaking of instruments, I used to play the bass clarinet, only for a year though. I took art instead of band when I entered High School. I really wanted to play the saxaphone though :) |

LOL Katie. I've a feeling it'll be the same for me forever...I just don't have the time to practice my guitar too often. But that's okay, it's just cool to know how to play some songs and chords. :O)
Good luck playing at the wedding!
We had a few bass clarinet players in our band. The funniest thing was the bassoon, though. ;O)

I love The Bealtes/George Harrison as well! They are my favorite band, apart from Wave (a canadian band, met them three times...aaah!) I play guitar too. But yesterday my friend broke one of my strings. She managed to get her head out of the way of my fist just in time! |

Hiya all :-}}
It warms the ....les of my heart to see so many fellow musician Palinites here. :-}}
Go forth and spam, err, 'jam!' :^}}
I second you Mary... best of luck for the wedding music Katie. :^} BTW, what are you going to play???
For my friends' wedding last month, I was playing the flute before, during and after the ceremony. The wedding was rather unusual, as it took place at a wildlife park, in front of the Shire Horses and stables. There were chickens, geese, ducks, turkeys, quail and pea....s roaming happily around while I was setting up my music stand ready to start playing. Just as I was putting the flute up to my lips, a rooster popped out of the bush beside me and started crowing for all he was worth!! To add insult to injury, the little bugger wasn't in tune!! This happened all the way through the service!! I swear this rooster was watching me out the corner of his eye, for no sooner had I lifted my flute up to toot away, off he went!! :^}
You know what they say, "never work with animals and/or children!!"

This is very odd!?
Whenever I want to write ....les or pea...., the .... part is deleted!!
Is this an error, or some kind of censorship?????
What say you Webmaster???

There were chickens, geese, ducks, turkeys, quail and peadicks roaming happily around while I was setting up my music stand etc. etc.
Is that better???? :^}

I love history too, maybe an interest in travel and history goes hand in hand?
Judy the Queen's last name is Windsor, is'nt it?
As for Robert Carlyle, he's one of my favourites too..anyone seen his movie called"Face"? Its pretty grungy..in true Robert Carlyle style!
