, here's another hug--I lost my mom in my childhood (suddenly, but a long story). If I could go back in time, I would be...
1.an Avalon priestess
2.a suffragette
3.a hippie/activist...oh, that's pretty much what I turned into...never mind :). |

I was almost Kathryn too - but my hair was black when I was born so they were like - 'No, Kathryns have lighter hair...' So they named me Lisa, and I ended up having the lightest hair in the whole family. Funny how little things decide the difference sometimes! :)
*Thanks mrsteabag - Hugs back!!*
Sorry to hear about your mom - |

I wanted to be a hippie, but I was just a bit too young (born in '58). But I'd really like to go back to medieval England. I'm getting fascinated with that era from reading "Pillars of the Earth", and I'd also like to spend a day with NO telephones, NO computers, NO televisions, NO cars, NO electricity--and I'm not too proud to use a privy, especially if it's only for a day. Imagine how *quiet* it must have been!
Other than that, there are a few days in my past that I consider fateful decision days, and I'd love to go back and change what I decided, then come back to the present and see if it made any difference. |

Oh I've never heard of so many Kathryns spelt the same was as my daughter:) I think it's such a pretty way of spelling it.
Ohhh being a hippy isn't when you were born it's a state of mind:) |

I would like to go back to the Roaring Twenties when everything changed and people seemed to have a good time (well, the well-off ones did!). A new woman was born (the flapper!) - she smoked, drank, danced and voted. She cut her hair, wore make-up and generally had a good time. There was the Charleston too! |

I'd like to go back to when there was no internet , no mobile phones, no emails, no faxes etc. I kow I use them all but life was simpler then. Or maybe I was just young and carefree! |

Well, as well as my other choices I would quite like to go back to the 1960s.
Although I was maybe just a bit too young to really enjoy it, I remember it as a carefree, innocent, wonderful time (maybe because I had no household to run, bills to pay etc etc!!).
Yeah man - peace and love!!
;)

Not in the USA, Anne! Vietnam and riots, lots of political unrest, drugs coming on the scene. I for one, was not involved in any of that, but news on TV was full of horrific stories. I though, had a marvelous time during the 60's. That's when I was in and graduated from high school and attended college. I have to say I did have a marvelous life, still do. I am blessed and grateful to ahve been so lucky. |

I'd rather travel forward in time to my retirement, then my time would be my own for leisure activities and projects I'm saving until then.
