My husband is the same way. Our local electronics chain "Radio Shack" is either "Radio Slack" or "Radio Snack". Our local grocery store chain, "Stop 'N' Shop", is "Stop 'N' Slop" (a former boyfriend called it "Stop 'N' Squat!). Everything gets some sort of rhyming nickname. Maybe it's because his British grandmother was a true Cockney?

Come to think of it Judy, depends on the tone of voice used I suppose, GORMLESS isn't entirely unaffectionate (if you see what I mean.

I still have to think when people say WICKED - it's all in the voice.

LOL!!!

We have an electrical store here, big chain store called Harvey Norman. My Mum refers to it as Hardly Normal:)
