Great that you have met Michael!
He was in the netherlands end of November signing books. check out www. denboer.nl for a short photo report.
And of course... I was there (not in the pictures). Had a great time.

Hi, I am new to this site and I was at the booksigning last night as well. The reason for me to be there was that I was getting the book for my mum, who is a big fan, with all the books and videos. She had the option of my dad getting it for her unsigned or me getting it signed as I work in Kentish Town and stayed after work. She chose the latter. Michael was just I had imagined him really, friendly, funny and bursting with enthusiasm. I have to admit that I haven't seen much of Michaels adventures on TV, just the odd part here and there of my mum's videos. However now that I have met him, this has really spured me on to watch the travels and read about them. I could have sat and listened for hours if that was possible, and I hadn't had a dead leg, as we had to sit on the floor! The reason I say this, is that it was like listening to a good tutor at college. When they really know their stuff, you learn more and want to get as much information as possible. It was lovely to meet him. I said this to him, and he replied it was lovely to meet me as well. What a guy:)

So pleased for you Patrick - postere as well as a photo -good for you, now you have made me envious - 20 mins of talk hey - you deserve it though - would have suffered two dead legs to listen to michael that long didnt know he talked as well as signed books - well done for getting the poster - both the signings i went to were signings only - it made your trip from germany worthwhile. Lucky you.

Hope my advice to you helped.

Stay with us helen - it is great to be here and good to have new friends all the time - have you thought of getting the sahara or other series on cassette or cd - that way you can listen to michaels lovely voice whenever you want. you could have done a very good impressioin of the ministry for silly walks with your dead leg! nice one ellen you should wear wing tips while performing your silly walk!

Was supposed to be making a trip to London this friday to see Rusell Watson but he is ill - poor lamb - thank goodnes Michael remains fit and healthy for all his book signings.

Coming to Nz in the new Year - wonder if Michael needs someone to carry his suitcases and look after him on the trip down under!?!

Wel done Patrick on your trip of a lifetime - One Life! make the most of it

Hugs to everyone

did you get a cream tea while in england Patrick?

Lyn AKA Piglet two kisses.
