Sadly no Peter I'd like to like one creme egg a year but I have to lay off (diabetic) - really I do prefer the 70% cocoa-solids (verging on the bitter) chocolate.

Patty, this is your trip you mentioned earlier: have a lovely time!

Yep,Though I'm not diabetic,I'm also definitely a hard dark choc solids bloke..these folks into sickly creme eggies,well,frankly,it's the other side of disgusting!

I love dark chocolate as far as it's not any darker than the 60% variety. But it's my first priority when it comes to chocolate. Yum.

Thanks, Linda. I'm really looking forward to kicking back and enjoying not having any responsibilities for a week. Haven't been away since October and we were far from seeing sandy beaches and blue seas! What I am looking forward to also is the serenity and isolation. Just nature and a jeep in which to get around.

It only starts to get good at around 60%. I like the 70%, or even 80% if I really need CHOCOLATE and not sugar.

I do like sickly sweet things (buttercreme cake frosting!), but I like my chocolate strong and dark, like my coffee.

I'm envious a bit, Patty! But I bet you will make the most of your Time Out, and do let us know how it went.

Judy - last time in France, we got some 99% cocoa-solid chocolate. Ate it in small amounts - OK but I'm sure it kept me awake! (PS: this strength is very good in a chocolate mousse)

Whew! Anything 70 % and higher is quite strong to me. The 70% I can eat if I just take a small piece about the size of the first joint of an index finger. Any more makes my toes curl! lol.

LInda, it would be great to have the whole site here congregate somewhere in the Caribbean on an island. That would be a blast. I'll save you a spot under a palm tree with a nice beverage, ok? I'm planning on a Jimmy Buffet week, that's for sure!

Can anyone explain to me why chocolate always tastes better when it's egg or rabbit-shaped?

Well, that's generally true to most people Kaz, but if you'd ever taste my Mom's home made cakes and brownies, you'd think otherwise!
