I'm going to suggest he is on the Nile between Eritrea and Khartoum.

No, Ken. But thanks for trying. Why don''t you find another word for "eusocial insects," Wikipedia might help.
Plug your answer plus the word "Sahel" into keyword search and see what you come up with? Goodluck.

Peri!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
<3 Now that should be a heart!!!!

No It is not Lake Awasa :-(

OK plug eusocial into wikipedia search, then plug that answer into the word search along with the word architecture or you could just plug in the word Sahel into the wordsearch here too.

Re: Game: Where in the World is Michael Palin? by Loretto on 3 June 2011 3:12pm

Moyale is the right answer Patty!!!

1.In Pole to Pole, Michael Palin states that the road trip to Moyale is dangerous. A truck goes off a bridge, they pass it, the wheels still spinning. Down the road another truck is overturned and two people are killed.
2.Termite mounds almost 15 feet high.
3. Ethiopian side is hotter than the Kenyan side.
Pole to Pole: Day 86
"Moyale is divided into Ethiopian and Kenyan Moyale by a muddy stream and some sophisticated link fencing on the Kenyan side."
4.As Palin records the day's journey in his notebook an army of ants start crawling up his arm.
5. Wikipedia Definition:
"The Sahel is the ecoclimatic and biogeographic zone of transition between the Sahara desert in the North and the Sudanian Savannas in the south. It stretches across the North African continent between the Atlantic Ocean and the Red Sea."

WELL DONE PATTY!!!!!!

I have no idea!

Hey Ken, so google "fat boy" or even better, wikipedia it. Here's another hint, fat boy is not a fat boy at all. In fact it is a pretty insensitive name for a very destructive event.

Good luck!
