Just discovered yesterday that this new camera can also capture slow motion video, way cool.

I look forward to seeing more slo-mo from your developing talent and new camera!

I participated in the insect world just moments ago!

A spider set up his lair in my bathroom, in perfect viewing angle and distance for me while...well, you know. I like spiders and avoid vacuuming them up when the industrious critters get a trap in working order.

I caught a fruit-fly (fat, over-fed bastard he must have been) and brought him to the little spider-guy. His net is set in a corner, so I threw the fly onto it and laid back to watch. Of course the motion of the delivery scared the spider back into the tunnel, but twenty seconds later he came out to collect the feast I brought him.

Ewwwwwwwwwww! I feel sorry for the fly. But that's life!

I've seen many a fruit fly in my beer or wine and drank them anyway. I find a spider accepting my offering to be humbling indeed. That one irritating fly may provide the spider with a week of food energy.

I live a 'holistic' garden life. I try not to poison anything. The birds have insects to eat and leave my fruit alone. The ants have aphids to farm on the trees and don't clean my kitchen anymore. The cats have birds to chase. The snake gets most of the slugs.

There is a wild cherry tree outside my house and I have been inundated with fruit flies and spiders out there!!
