I have received a final notice from CRewards, a company that have been spamming me for years? to do gambling with them. I wonder how many final notices I'll get before they spam me from a different company or start from scratch again! |

I have noticed that spam and trash e-mails reduce significantly at the weekends. This would indicate that those who send the junk are professionals in the activity. |

Just had an email from 'Amazon-Local' saying that the order I placed on May 16th 2014 was being processed - 'details in attached file'.
Yeah right. I have no orders outstanding with Amazon, especially not 2 months old!! Normally Amazon is fast and reliable, which made alarm bells ring.
So 'delete' it is. |

I've noticed that the gambling trash has stopped recently but I am getting more car/insurance trash. I'm blocking all types of trash whether it arrives in spam or my inbox so hopefully it will all stop or be deposited in trash without wasting my time in my inbox. |

I complained to BT last night about their new email facility and I got a reply from an agent of theirs (I nearly deleted it without opening) this morning. It looks like they will consider my complaint carefully. |

I've been getting various fine coloured lines down my iMac monitor for some time now and I thought I would investigate. In the Apple forum someone complained about the same problem in 2008 and the respondent basically accused them of being stupid when asking for technical data on the machine. The respondent had originally been told by a friend that the machine was out of warranty and not under guarantee. Our machine is the same and I never respond to the antivirus window when it pops up (if I did I would have paid about £1000 or more for antivirus protection by now!). All this reaffirms my suspicion that the computer and software manufacturers (Apple, Microsoft etc.) will try by devious means to get you to buy new or upgraded product from them.
In saying that there are programmers who don't work for known computer/software companies and these are the ones who should be jailed for hacking with viruses. |

I've discovered that the most common survey to throw me out is about Sky and all it's facilities. Now when I get one of their surveys I don't even bother telling them I don't have Sky and just delete it i.e. throw myself out of the survey. |
