I have guessed so far Lots of Love but that sounds pretty woosy to me and am hoping it is something more substantial.

Re: what's your age, everyone? by Spursfan on 19 November 2004 7:48pm

I read somewhere that 40 was the new 30 - which must mean that 50 is the new 40 etc etc. Or am I just telling myself that?

I know when my friend and I (we have been mates since we were 8) meet up and have a pub meal, we feel that we are 16 again and chat away - whereas others in the pub probably think "look at those two old dears/old f**ts/old bags (delete as necessary) having a chinwag"!!

Whatever, our generation is certainly younger in mind and body than previous ones.

I certainly don't feel as I thought I would feel in my 50's, i.e. sensible and grown up!!

Who cares, it's an old saying but you're only as old as you feel!!
