Oh, how wondrous is that??? Thank goodness, Layla, that your dog has been reunited with you. I bet you are both so relieved. And DO get hm to a vet. He may look fine, but you never know right away. Good luck and let us know how he is.

Update! by Layla on 6 November 2003 11:51pm

Hi, I'm still on a high from finding him yesterday, my mam, sister and me just couldn't believe it. We took him to the vet and he's on painkillers and antibiotics. He got hit by a car but nothing's broken. He's got a bruised pelvis and some superficial wounds. I slept with him beside me yesterday and he probably doesn't know what's hit him with all the treats and extra attention we're giving him! His old spirit is coming back too, he's been a lot more lively today compared to yesterday! Anyway thanks again everyone - the whole world just looks brighter again now.
I also play with any dog and cat I see and most dogs tend to like me!
I am from Ireland too, from Dublin - lived in Blanchardstown (a good part!) until 2001 and now we're in Trim, Co. Meath. Max was found 10 miles away in Summerhill. What part of Dublin are you from IrishManUfan?
Ok, I've waffled on enough - I suppose I'm just very excited, am just getting max a nice sheet to lie on for tonight! ( He normally wouldn't get one as he eats everything - but i'll be keeping an eye on him!)

good night... : )
